Q: Is there a move-in fee?
A: At Hearthside Senior Living, we aim to make the transition to assisted living as smooth as possible. We do not charge a move-in fee. Our goal is to provide a warm and welcoming environment where you or your loved one can start this new chapter of life without any additional financial burden.
Q: What are the extra costs?
A: Assisted Living at Hearthside Senior Living, our all-inclusive package covers a wide range of services to make life comfortable and enjoyable. This includes housekeeping, laundry, medication management, three daily meals, WiFi, basic cable TV, fresh linen, fresh towels, snacks, and a diverse array of activities. Help with bathing/dressing is an additional $250.00 per month, and incontinence care is an additional $250.00 per month. All residents are required to wear a call-light pendant that can alert team members. The fee for this is $100.00 upon entrance.

Q: How is the food?
A: Our culinary team takes great pride in preparing delicious and nutritious meals. We offer a variety of menu options, including special dietary accommodations. Good food is an essential part of a fulfilling life, and we strive to provide an enjoyable dining experience for our residents. Our professional dietary staff prides itself in their extra effort to please personal preferences and accommodate medically restricted diets, while serving nutritious and delicious meals 3 times a day. Additionally, fruits, cereals, drinks, ice cream, and a variety of other snack items are available at several locations for our residents 24 hours a day.

Our fantastic Activities Manager plans daily activities like memory games, chair volleyball, painting classes, and trivia. In addition to engaging activities, we hold worship services on Sunday mornings, providing a sense of spiritual fulfillment and community bonding. Ada Midget, an assisted living resident, shares “We have preachers that come in and do activities, tell stories, and preach to us”. We ensure that our residents have diverse and meaningful experiences to look forward to. Additionally, we have an expansive patio with rocking chairs, a well-maintained yard and campus, and a scenic walking trail, allowing residents to stay active and enjoy the outdoors.
